Genuine question though: could the lights and fan on the GPU be powered and the actuall card still not have power. If this does'nt work I'm gonna assume that the card is dead though. I tried running the NVidia installer, but windows still only shows the "standard VGA graphics adapter" in device manager, so that didn't work.
