Even if you stick a new disc in the drive and refresh the directory, Windows still thinks that the old disc is still in the drive. Go toDevice Manager, click a "+" sign next toIDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers.You'll see two items:- ATA Channel0 (or Primary Channel)- ATA Channel1 (or Secondary Channel)Right click on each of them, and clickUninstall. this content

Ext Hard Drive shows up as a CD!
