BTW, you mentioned before that you have already tried clearing the bios - I just want to check that you disconnected the 20 pin ATX power connector from the motherboard before I did have it come back to me successfully only once, with no ryhme or reason. Could not even take a GX270 PSU to try in a GX280, nor a regular ATX PSU... You could try pulling all other components too, but if you KNOW the power supply is good, and the computer doesn't beep with the RAM pulled, it's a bad mobo in I generally recommend buying a new power supply however you can replace the faulty capacitors for $2 in parts + shipping.
