Dell Inspiron E1505 Not Booting Up
i pressed the power button twice and it booted into a diagnostic which everything was passed. When I plug in the ac power with the computer turned off, there is no light on the laptop. Plug the computer back in but leave the battery out. i pulled the battery and plug and recharged it. his comment is here
If I didn't already buy the new laptop battery, I definitely would have bought the used processor. this happened all of a sudden with no symptoms beforehand. It powers on for 3 seconds, the screen never comes on. My mom thinks it's a virus, but all I did was download something...
If that were the case, it isn't worth replacing that part. It's a Dell e7500. This will be my next step later this week when I get a chance to take the machine apart. The 2 lights continue flashing for about a minute or two and then evrything just turns off - including the ON button.I tried switching batteries and power supply but no luck.
Other than that, not sure what else to try.
