Several functions may not work. Even tried "cat /dev/urandom > /dev/dsp". It requires manufacturers to provide owners and independent repair shops with access to repair information and replacement parts—so you have the resources you need to fix things quickly and affordably. However back in 7.10 I had to do some serious hacking of my system to get them to work properly.
Alas that too was re-broken with linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.22-10.24. Do you think a wire is loose ? Was this answer helpful? here My Dells have been buggy for me since 1997 on to HP.

I tried the contact cleaner route this weekend-- no dice. weblink And I will wonder if my D630 is different, then the one from Nick Rossow Gabriel Ambuehl (gabriel-ambuehl) wrote on 2007-09-20: Re: [Bug 131133] Re: [gutsy] no sound on Dell Latitude
Can't comment on Feisty as I haven't used it on it so far (and don't really plan to, either). In 2012, voters passed a law that ensured residents' right to repair their car wherever they wanted. I don't see many other gateway complaints but I am getting discouraged with several problems.
