What caused the surge????? And ehm, this may come as a shock to you but I'm only 14, I'm a gamer (obviously) and have learned theoretically how this all works, but never done it physically, Some times the Comp has a dual output video card and the monitor is plugged into the wrong connector.
I checked inside the XP PC to see if I knocked any wires out of their sockets but I don't think I have. I had a computer with bad integrated video card a few years ago. Computer Monitor Doesn't Get Signal All I did was select the boot drive to default and then it stopped showing up on the monitor.
