Took her computer away and sanitized it for a couple of days. I believe this is a bug that creates some type of loop in the video hardware which instantly overheat the video card. When it freezes, my computer becomes unresponsive with sound still playing for about 5 seconds or so, at a very slow rate. If no luck download a registry cleaner and use it. I can play other file types with any of the player software (mpg, F4V, M4V, MP4 etc.) and it doesn't freeze. The system chipset drivers fail at installing the North Bridge Filter Driver. I had video problems and BSOD for months, even bought a new vid card. Is this fourm monitored by Microsoft peoplethat can see there is a pattern here? And the video card in another machine can playback any type of video for hours on end.

The output Video should automatically switch to DivX the Output audio mp3 Leave everything else the same, if there is a video scale put it to dont change. Also I don't think it's advisable anyway since Aero may stop functioning.
